The All People’s Congress (APC) has announced the opening of applications for members seeking to contest for District Executive positions within the party.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, the APC National Secretariat said the application process is being conducted in accordance with Section 16 of the APC Party Elections Rules and Regulations, duly gazetted by the Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC), and the provisions of the APC Constitution (2022).
The party said eligible members can submit their applications through its online portal or by manual submission.
Under the announced fee structure, candidates seeking the position of District Chairman will pay a candidature fee of Le2,000, in addition to a Le200 application form fee.
Candidates contesting all other District Executive positions will pay a candidature fee of Le1,000 and a Le100 application form fee.
The APC has urged all prospective candidates to ensure that they are fully compliant with their membership subscription obligations and other eligibility requirements under the party’s Constitution and Elections Rules and Regulations.
Applicants have also been advised to ensure that their membership records and subscriptions are up to date before submitting their applications.
The party said candidature fee payments should preferably be made through its dedicated Orange Money Merchant Code, 271703, while membership subscription payments can also be made through Orange Money using the prescribed membership payment procedure.
According to the notice, membership subscription payments made through Orange Money will be verified in real time through the APC’s digital membership platform.
Where necessary, members may also pay through the APC’s Rokel Commercial Bank account, number 1086762.
The APC further urged applicants to ensure that all payments are made correctly and that evidence of payment is retained for verification and record purposes.
The party said the Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) has been formally notified of the opening of applications and the applicable procedures.
