APC presidential aspirant Ady Macauley has joined residents of Fourahbay in Constituency 122 for the official unveiling of the Fourahbay Community Football Club jersey ahead of the COFA 2026 Inter-Community Champions League.

The event, held at Bottom School, brought together community members, football enthusiasts, supporters and local stakeholders to celebrate the team and promote youth participation in sports.

Macauley, who served as Guest of Honour, joined community representatives to unveil the club’s official jersey and reaffirmed his support for initiatives aimed at promoting unity and creating opportunities for young people.

“Football has a unique power to bring communities together, create opportunities for our young people, and strengthen the bonds that make us one people,” he said.

He called on residents and supporters to rally behind the Fourahbay team as it prepares to compete in the COFA 2026 Inter-Community Champions League, urging the community to remain united in its bid to bring the championship trophy to Fourahbay.

As part of his support for the team, Macauley donated supporters’ jerseys to the Fourahbay Football Club Supporters Union and made a financial contribution to the club.

The gesture was welcomed as support for grassroots football and youth development in the community, with the event also highlighting the role of sports in promoting social cohesion and providing young people with opportunities to develop their talents.

Macauley also spoke about his ties to Fourahbay, saying his relationship with the community goes beyond politics.

“This is my home. These are my people. Ẹjẹ ni gbogbo wa,” he said, expressing his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote unity, youth empowerment and community development.

The Fourahbay Community Football Club is now set to turn its preparations into action as it begins its campaign in the upcoming COFA 2026 Inter-Community Champions League.
