State House Invites Dr. Samura Kamara for Emergency Meeting on Tripartite Issues

In an official Letter President Julius Maada Bio has sent a formal invitation to Dr. Samura Kamara, for an Emergency Meeting overt tripartite Issues on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at State House.

The letter Reads;

I write to invite you to a meeting to discuss pertinent issues relating to the continued operations of the Tripartite Committee, particularly on Resolution (3) of the Agreement for National Unity.

As you are verily aware, Resolution (3) of the Agreement establishes a Three-way Committee (GOSL, APC and Development Partners), which shall function over a period of six (6) months. The committee has been operating since January 2024, and is expected to complete its activities in June 2024.

In view of the progress made to date, and in order to address any outstanding or emerging concerns, including the suggestion for an “Expanded Committee” meeting to be convened, this Meeting will be attended by two lead Negotiators, the three Co-Chairs, as well as other Committee Members.

The meeting will be held in the Conference Room, Office of the Chief Minister, State House, Freetown on Thursday 2nd May 2024 at 11:00 am.
