The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, has visited the Leone Stars training camp at the SLFA Football Academy as the national team stepped up preparations for its upcoming international friendly matches against Liberia.

The visit came as the team held its first training session, officially kicking off preparations for the two friendly encounters against their West African counterparts.

During his interaction with players and technical staff, President Kamara urged the squad to demonstrate discipline, commitment, and professionalism as they embark on the assignment. He reminded the players of the honour attached to representing Sierra Leone at international level, stressing the need to always give their best for the nation.

He further emphasized the importance of unity, teamwork, and determination within the camp, noting that strong cohesion would be key to achieving positive results in the upcoming fixtures. According to him, the friendlies also present a valuable opportunity for the technical team to assess players and strengthen the overall squad structure.

Kamara expressed confidence in the ability of the team to perform well, encouraging players to remain focused and take full advantage of the training period as preparations intensify.
