A Sierra Leone-born artificial intelligence expert, Albert Patrick Sankoh, has earned international recognition after being named a “Trendsetter to Watch” at the Tech 2.0 Conference 2026 held in the United States.

The prestigious event took place on April 8, 2026, at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, bringing together leading innovators, engineers, and entrepreneurs from around the world.

Sankoh, a full-stack developer, Chief Executive Officer of Yestech Solutions, and co-founder of EZ-Tech LLC, was recognised for his outstanding contributions to the development of technology solutions across key sectors, including finance, healthcare, and enterprise systems.

His work includes the creation of digital payment platforms and artificial intelligence-driven applications aimed at improving efficiency and accessibility in modern systems.

Speaking shortly after receiving the award, Sankoh said the honour represents more than a personal achievement, stressing that it reflects the untapped potential of African innovation.
