PUBLIC NOTICE
The General Public would recall that on Friday 12″ August 2022, His Excellency Brigadier General (Rtd.) Dr. Julius Maada Bio addressed the Nation and assured that an investigation would be instituted into the events of Wednesday 10th August 2022.
Accordingly, it has pleased His Excellency Brigadier General (Rtd.) Dr. Julius Maada Bio to announce the establishment of a Special Investigation Committee to examine both the immediate and underlying causes, sources of financing, execution and consequences of the insurrection, as well as the response of security forces.
The composition of the Special Investigation Committee is as follows:

9. President-Inter-Religious cOuncil of sierra Leone
10. National Chairman- council of Paramount Chiefs
11.Chairman-Independent Commission for Peace and National Cohesion
12.Chairman- Political Party Registration Commission
13.Chairman-Independent Media Commission
14.Chairman- Retired Senior Police Officers Association
15.Chairman Sierra Leone Ex-Servicemen’s Association
