NPPA Lifts Suspension on Four Businesses

The National Procurement Authority (NPPA) in a press release issued Wednesday 15th August, 2021announced that following instructions received from the Office of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, the institution has lifted the suspension on a number of businesses and individuals who were previously named in the COI White Papers which in effect, temporarily suspended them from doing business with the government until further notice.

According to the release, “we now inform the general public and the public sector procuring entities in particular that having received such submissions from the Attorney General, the following firms and individuals are permitted to do business or resume their previous ongoing businesses with the Government:

1. Umar Ventures;

2. Bullom Construction and General Services;

3. BDO and Mr. Samuel D. Noldred;

4. Guoiji Construction and Investment Company (SL) Ltd.”
