ADVERT FOR DRIVERS FOR SANITATION VEHICLES
The Freetown City Council requires eight (8) drivers to drive/operate heavy duty Six
wheels Sanitation vehicles mainly to pick up and deposit garbage around the Municipality
of Freetown
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/TOR
The successful applicant will be expected to carry out the following functions but
not limited to:
- Collect garbage around the municipality and must be willing to work during odd
hours and weekends
- Liaise with the Fleet team for prompt maintenance
- Could be assigned to do any other job
QUALIFICATION:
- Should have at least attained and attempted the Basic Education Certificate
Examination (BECE)
- Must have had at least five years working experience with heavy duty vehicles and
should show evidence of such
- Holder of a valid drivers’ license covering the category of vehicle stated above
- The reporting line is the foreman general attached to the engineering
MODE OF APPLYING:
All applications should be in writing and addressed to the Chief Administrator, Freetown
City Council, 17 Wallace Johnson Street, Freetown, marked on the envelope, application
for Driver. All applications should be delivered not later than 15th June, 2021.
Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted and that they will be subjected to face an interview panel and tests
Successful applicants will undergo initial training. Female Drivers are also encouraged apply
