As House of Electronics Gets another Branch… 1ST CLASS ELECTRONICS SHOP OPENS

In line with promoting Local Content and ensuring that Sierra Leoneans entrepreneurs are given enough room to start businesses in the country, Type-A House of Electronics SL has yesterday Tuesday 17th November, 2021 opened the biggest and most classic shop selling all types of modern, sophisticated electronics and electrical appliances.

A young Sierra Leonean business tycoon, Amadu Batty is the entrepreneur who started his life selling electronic gadgets at Belgium, King Jimmy in Freetown. In his zest to demonstrate that Sierra Leoneans also have the knack and wherewithal to compete with similar international businesses, he worked relentlessly to make his dream come true.

In his statement to a sizeable audience at the shop’s location on 13 Sanders Street in Freetown, he called on young people to be industrious and to always strive to be trustworthy and to believe that they can make a life for themselves by working hard, adding that when young people are given the opportunity, they must always try to deliver and on time, so that in turn, customers and the general public would have faith and trust in them.

He further stated that Type-A House of Electronics SL is a one hundred per cent Sierra Leonean-owned business, employing several Sierra Leoneans, adding that he is looking forward to getting maximum support from Sierra Leoneans. He maintained that with Type-A House of Electronics SL, Sierra Leoneans would be saved from browsing Google, Amazon and other internet spots to search for electronic and electrical items because Type-A House of Electronics SL is bringing all these closer to the people of Sierra Leone.

Making a brief statement at the occasion was Professor Joe A.D Alie. He told his audience to believe and support young people in Sierra Leone. He added that the launch of Type-A House of Electronics SL is a pointer to the fact that with support from Sierra Leoneans and the government, young people in Sierra Leone can make meaningful contribution to the country’s overall development.

He added that with Type-A House of Electronics SL, there would be little need for business people to travel abroad window-shopping for goods to purchase and import to Sierra Leone for eventual sale. He appealed to all Sierra Leoneans to support Type-A House of Electronics SL.

Among several prominent individuals, entrepreneurs and business tycoons was Joe Abass Bangura. He called on young people to be proactive and to take the lead in the entrepreneurial arena of Sierra Leone.

The occasion was climaxed with traditional dances and a show of Sierra Leonean-ness.
