The National Secretariat of the All People’s Congress (APC) has issued a public notice dated 9th June 2026 informing members and stakeholders of the publication of the electronic Constituency Register of Eligible Voters (CREVs), alongside a call for immediate verification ahead of the forthcoming constituency elections.

According to the notice, following the earlier publication of the ward-based version of the CREVs, an electronic version of the register was published on the party’s official website, apcsl.net, on Monday, 8th June 2026, as part of preparations for the upcoming elections.

The Secretariat noted that it had observed discrepancies in the declaration sheets and election result returns submitted by the Independent Elections Management Committee (IEMC) after the recently concluded Ward Executive Elections. It stated that the documents did not include Membership Identification Numbers (MINs) for successful candidates, a gap which may have affected the completeness of the electronically generated register.

In response, the APC National Secretariat has directed all Regional, District, and Constituency Executives, Ward Executives, Sitting Councilors, Members of Parliament, and other stakeholders to immediately verify the published register to ensure its accuracy.

The verification exercise requires stakeholders to confirm the correctness of names of ward executives, constituency executives, sitting councilors, and Members of Parliament, including associated photographs where applicable.

The Secretariat further instructed that within 48 hours of the notice, all identified discrepancies, omissions, incorrect entries, or concerns must be compiled into a Consolidated District File (CDF) and submitted for urgent review and correction.

It also urged any affected party officials whose names are missing or incorrectly captured in the register to promptly report through their respective district structures for inclusion in the CDF.

Each submission is required to include key details such as district, constituency, ward, full name, position held, and Membership Identification Number (MIN). The Secretariat emphasized that the MIN must strictly follow the APC MEMS format, consisting of two alphabetic initials, six numerical digits, a hyphen, and seven numerical digits.

The notice warned that submissions without valid MINs in the prescribed format will be considered invalid on the APC MEMS platform and may be excluded from the final Constituency Register of Eligible Voters.

Following the verification and correction process, all updated records will be forwarded to the Independent Elections Management Committee (IEMC) for final validation, particularly concerning newly elected ward executives.

The APC Secretariat also clarified that, in line with Article 42 of the APC Constitution (2022), the IEMC remains the only constitutionally mandated body responsible for validating the results and identities of party election winners.

Once the validation process is completed, the National Secretariat will incorporate all approved corrections and finalize the Constituency Register of Eligible Voters for use in the upcoming constituency elections.

The Secretariat concluded by urging full cooperation from all party members and stakeholders to ensure an accurate, transparent, and credible final register.
