Satellite Newspaper CEO Boosts Aberdeen Community School Project

As the usual adage goes, charity begins at home, Ibrahim Babatunde Sesay has today Friday 6th November, 2020 boosted the ongoing school construction project implemented by Hon. Mohamed Sheriff Rahman-Coker in Aberdeen Community with cash for the purchase of twenty-five of bags of cement.

Ibrahim Babatunde Sesay, being the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of one of the widely read newspapers in Sierra Leone, The Satellite Newspaper for its fair and objective reporting, is an old pupil of the Aberdeen Community Primary School and senior stakeholder in Aberdeen.

Speaking at the handing over of the cash to the Member of Parliament held at Shams Entertainment, Aberdeen in Freetown, Ibrahim Babatunde Sesay said that the donation is a fulfillment of the pledge he made to support the school project during the commissioning in September this year.

According to him, he was impressed with Hon. Rahman-Coker’s  ongoing development projects in constituency 131 especially the construction of eight (8) classrooms storey building, fencing, pavement, and renovation of other dilapidated structures within the Aberdeen Community School premise worth over one billion Leones.

He further called on other stakeholders in Aberdeen to support the law maker actualize the implementation of the State of the Art School Project in his childhood school.

The CEO registered commitments to increase his support as the project progresses in ensuring that the honourable achieves his goal in the community.

Receiving the Cash, Hon. Mohamed Sheriff Rahman-Coker expressed gratitude to the CEO for his support towards the successful implementation of the project.

He called on other residents and descendants to emulate Ibrahim Babatunde Sesay  by fulfilling their pledges towards the project.
