Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, the political Cynthia of our time; whose love for grassroots of the APC party continues to spread like a torrential tide in the Atlantic Ocean joined the barrage of APC stalwarts and supporters at the APC three-day Delegates Conference in Makeni.

Owing to her unique qualities as leader with developmental legacies,  Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr was very confident and agile as she mixed, dinned and romanced with the grassroots, stakeholders, admirers and even the residents of Makeni.

Her indelible works and her selfless strides in  transforming Freetown City at all costs have won the hearts and minds of many within and out of Freetown City.

This is conspicuous as APC supporters from the four corners of Makeni were requesting to take photos with the dynamic  Mayor of Freetown City- Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr . For some, they were just pouring praises and prayers on Mayor Aki-Sawyerr for God’s divine favour against her detractors that are  working round the clock  to see her downfall.

“Mama sharp na u winner bo, u sober lek you boss Pa Ernest ”  These are some of the words of the people in Makeni.

It’s no gainsaying that Mayor Aki-Sawyerr in recent times has been one of the most popular politicians with a very clean slate.

Irrespective of the so-called detractors, she’s doing her best to raise the flag  of her party and country to the height of fame.
