The Prince of Wales Junior Secondary School in Kingtom, Freetown, has announced the dates for interviews for pupils seeking admission into JSS 1 for the 2026/2027 academic year.
According to a public notice issued by the school on 31st August 2026, the interviews will be conducted on Wednesday, 2nd September, and Thursday, 3rd September 2026, for pupils who selected Prince of Wales as their first-choice school.
Parents and guardians have been advised to carefully check their children’s NPSE scores to determine the appropriate interview date.
Interview Schedule
- Wednesday, 2nd September 2026: Pupils who scored between 337 and 303
- Thursday, 3rd September 2026: Pupils who scored between 302 and 295
The interviews will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on both days.
The school has urged all eligible pupils to report promptly for their interviews and come prepared with the required documents.
Documents Required
Parents and guardians are required to ensure that their children bring the following:
- Primary School Record Cards and NPSE Results, duly signed and stamped by the Head Teacher;
- Birth Certificate; and
- Four passport-size photographs of the pupil wearing their school uniform.
The school also stated that all pupils attending the interviews must be accompanied by either a parent or guardian.
Pupils are required to attend the interviews wearing their previous school uniforms.
The administration emphasized that the interviews are specifically for pupils who selected Prince of Wales as their first-choice school.
Parents and guardians of pupils who fall within the stated score ranges are therefore encouraged to take note of the relevant interview dates and ensure that all required documents are prepared ahead of time.
