The Lawyers’ Society Executive has unveiled a strategic plan for its second and final year, following a one-day retreat on 21st February to assess past achievements and set priorities for the year ahead.
During the retreat, members reviewed activities carried out between 21st February 2025 and 20th February 2026, including advocacy campaigns, professional development programs, public interest projects, and collaborations with key stakeholders. The review evaluated progress against objectives, highlighted operational challenges, and identified lessons to enhance the Society’s effectiveness and impact.

To guide its final year, the Executive adopted a comprehensive Annual Work Plan emphasizing expanded advocacy on the rule of law and constitutionalism, enhanced member engagement, broader civic education initiatives, and strengthened strategic partnerships.
The Executive reiterated its commitment to transparency, principled leadership, and service, emphasizing the importance of consolidating achievements and leaving a lasting institutional impact for the legal profession and the wider public.
