The National Revenue Authority (NRA) has unveiled jerseys for its football team and supporters for the ongoing 2026 Inter-Ministerial, Departments and Agencies (Inter-MDAs) Football Tournament.
Deputy Commissioner General I, Mrs Ann-Marie Baby Harding, graced the event on behalf of the Commissioner General. She reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to supporting the team and encouraged the players to demonstrate discipline, determination, unity and good sportsmanship while representing the NRA.
Deputy Commissioner General II, Ing. Edmond Benjamin Nonie, also commended the team for its commitment and readiness for the competition. He encouraged the players to give their best and wished them success in the tournament.

The Chairman of the NRA Sports Committee, Mohamed Bomba Fofanah, in his statement appreciated the support from the Authority’s leadership and reaffirmed their determination to represent the NRA with pride and dedication.
The Team Manager, Assistant Commissioner for Large Taxpayers Office at the Domestic Tax Department, David Lansana, commended the Commissioner General’s Office, Senior Management and everyone who contributed to making this initiative possible. He also called on the leadership to sustain its support for the team beyond this launch. “I believe that with continuous institutional support, proper motivation, and collective commitment, the team can achieve greater success and bring pride and recognition to the institution,” he said.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the display of five sets of jerseys: two for the footballers, two for the volleyball players and one set for staff members supporting the team. According to NRA, the jerseys symbolise a shared institutional identity and the collective commitment of players and supporters to the NRA’s participation in the tournament.
In her appreciation remarks on behalf of the NRA Sports Committee, Ms Jattu Ruth Bockarie, Supervisor attached to the Bonded Warehouse unit at Customs Services Department within NRA, noted that the unveiling underscores the importance of sports in strengthening staff relationships, promoting teamwork and fostering a sense of belonging beyond the workplace. She ended by assuring the NRA leadership that the team is set to win the tournament.
