Legal Access through Women Yearning for Equality Rights and Social Justice (L.A.W.Y.E.R.S.) has announced plans to host a Welcome Soiree for newly called female lawyers as part of activities marking its 29th Anniversary Celebration.
According to the Association, the event forms part of its continued commitment to advocating for the rights of women and girls, while also strengthening professional solidarity among female members of the legal profession.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday, 13th February 2026, at the New Brookfields Hotel in Freetown, beginning at 4:00 p.m. The dress code for the occasion is official.

Organizers say the event will serve as a platform to formally welcome newly enrolled female lawyers into the profession, celebrate milestones achieved over the past 29 years, and reaffirm the Association’s dedication to advancing gender equality and justice.
