The grand finals of the Sports Gala between the Pharmaceutical Society of Sierra Leone (PSSL) and the Lawyers Society of Sierra Leone delivered an exciting display of teamwork, discipline, and professional camaraderie on Sunday, 19th November 2025, at the Kingtom Practising Field.

One of the standout figures was Ady Macauley, the leading APC Flagbearer Aspirant who captained the Lawyers Society team.

Macauley, a leading APC flag-bearer aspirant, demonstrated strong leadership throughout the match, anchoring the defense with composure and tactical awareness. His performance earned widespread applause from spectators and fellow professionals. At the end of the tightly contested game, he was awarded Man of the Match for his solid defensive work and overall contribution.

The event showcased the growing unity and social cohesion among Sierra Leone’s professional bodies, reinforcing the role of sports as a powerful tool for strengthening relationships beyond office spaces and political affiliations. The friendly rivalry between the two institutions brought out exemplary sportsmanship, professionalism, and mutual respect.

Speaking after the match, Macauley underscored the importance of such engagements in nation-building. He noted that football and other sporting activities promote teamwork, discipline, and a sense of community values that matter both on the field and in national leadership.
