In a significant effort to enhance bilateral relations, the Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone, through the Office of the Special Envoy for Trade and Investment together with other partners such as; BettehSalone Group, Africa Trade Desk, Global Affairs and many more is pleased to announce the inaugural Sierra Leone-Canada Trade, Investment & Cultural Show (SICA 2025).
This premier event is scheduled to take place from September 18th to 20th, 2025, at the Viceroy Banquet Hall in Toronto. The theme for SICA 2025, “Bridging Nations, Building Futures: Sierra Leone and Canada in Trade, Investment, and Cultural Partnership,” reflects the commitment to fostering collaborative relationships between the two nations.
SICA 2025 will serve as a vital platform for establishing strategic alliances and exploring transformative opportunities across key sectors. The forum aims to promote collaboration, attract foreign direct investment, and stimulate sustainable economic growth by harnessing the extensive potential for trade and cultural exchange between Sierra Leone and Canada.
The event will feature keynote addresses from a distinguished Sierra Leonean delegation, including Her Excellency Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, Chief Minister
- Mr. Timothy Musa Kabba, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. They will be joined by senior representatives from the Government of Canada to discuss various topics.
