The All People’s Congress (APC) is set to hold a certification ceremony for Young Congress Leaders across the Western Region on Monday, 1st September 2025, at the party’s headquarters in Freetown, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The event will formally certify Constituency, District, and Regional Young Congress Leaders, recognizing their roles and contributions within the party. Organized under the supervision of the APC National Young Congress Executive, the ceremony is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen and consolidate youth structures nationwide.

East District Young Congress Leaders, led by Abubakarr Banja Sesay and Hassanatu Zainab Kamara, have confirmed their full readiness to participate in the event. Their presence is expected to demonstrate the values of unity, collaboration, and the growing influence of young people within the APC.

Officials say the certification exercise will not only formalize leadership positions but also empower youth leaders to play a more active role in advancing the party’s vision and political objectives across the Western Region.
