Youth Minister Breaks Silence After President Bio Relieves Him of Office

The recently relieved Minister of Youth Affairs has spoken publicly for the first time, expressing deep gratitude to President Julius Maada Bio for assigning him with the opportunity to serve the young people of Sierra Leone.

Speaking this morning to this press, he reflected on his tenure, the transformative youth projects he led, and his unwavering commitment to the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).

“I am profoundly grateful to His Excellency, President Julius Maada Bio, for giving me the platform to serve our nation’s youth. I embraced this role with dedication, worked diligently to influence change, and spearheaded impactful projects that empowered young people across Sierra Leone,” he stated.

During his time in office, the former minister championed key initiatives, including job creation programs, youth entrepreneurship schemes, and vocational training opportunities, all aimed at fostering self-reliance and national development.

His leadership also saw the implementation of policies that prioritized young people as key drivers of economic and social progress. Despite stepping down from his ministerial position, he reaffirmed his loyalty to the SLPP and his commitment to national service. “I remain an SLPP member through and through.

Leadership is not about titles—it’s about service. I will continue to serve with the same diligence and passion, working for the progress of our beloved nation,” he emphasized.
