Owing to her unique qualities as leader with developmental legacies, Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr was very confident and agile as she mixed, dinned and romanced with the grassroots, stakeholders, admirers and even the residents of Makeni.
Her indelible works and her selfless strides in transforming Freetown City at all costs have won the hearts and minds of many within and out of Freetown City.
This is conspicuous as APC supporters from the four corners of Makeni were requesting to take photos with the dynamic Mayor of Freetown City- Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr . For some, they were just pouring praises and prayers on Mayor Aki-Sawyerr for God’s divine favour against her detractors that are working round the clock to see her downfall.

It’s no gainsaying that Mayor Aki-Sawyerr in recent times has been one of the most popular politicians with a very clean slate.
Irrespective of the so-called detractors, she’s doing her best to raise the flag of her party and country to the height of fame.
