U.S Warns ECSL to Respect the Will of Sierra Leoneans

The United States of America through it’s embassy in the Republic of Sierra Leone, has warned the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) and its chief electoral commissioner Mohamed Konneh that the final results must accurately reflect the will of the Sierra Leonean people.

US Embassy Freetown says “Like all of us, Washington is keenly interested in the election outcome. The announced results must accurately reflect the will of the Sierra Leonean people”.

The results of the June 24 2023, elections in Sierra Leone is set to be announced soon and the U.S and the international Community have sent strong warnings to the ECSL.

  1. The ECSL Commisioner konneh is the problem,by providing fake results with out each political party sign and agreed upon the announcement of such data which does not reflect the will of the Sierra leonean peoples… I urge you international apparatus to step in and so the right things..

  3. We where hoping that with you guys around the ECSL will fear to manipulate the election for president Bio but oh God we are in hell again.
    My country moto is dead again no peace no unity no freedom no justice for people in the opposition what a wicked world, please bring back our Democracy for us by compelling the Bio government and the ECSL to do the right thing.
