The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, has attended an online meeting of the FIFA Commercial and Marketing Committee.

Kamara was appointed to the committee in October 2025, two months after assuming office as President of the SLFA.

The committee advises FIFA on commercial partnerships, event operations, and strategies aimed at increasing revenue for football associations.

During the meeting, discussions focused on ways national football associations can strengthen their revenue-generation capacity, as well as other commercial strategies to support the development of football.

Kamara highlighted some of the projects undertaken by the SLFA to create new revenue-generating opportunities for the association.

He also outlined the benefits the SLFA has gained from FIFA Connect, including the generation of fixtures and the digitalisation of the association’s player registration processes.
