Showdown to Promote Cordiality… ICM to Lock Horns with Murialdo Veterans

The Ideal Critical Minds (ICM) is all set to lock horns with Murialdo Veterans as they engage in a friendly football match on Sunday 12th September 2021. The match will be hosted at the X-Ray Arena, SS Camp starting at 3:00 pm prompt.

According to the organizer of the fixture, Alhaji Abu Komeh, the game will be played to strengthen the spirit of friendship between the two groups and to provide space for their members to interact and discuss issues of mutual interest. He mentioned that ICM is a WhatsApp group that constitutes professionals with various expertise and that every year, the group organizes football games for its members.

He further stated however, that this year, they invited Murialdo Veterans to engage in a friendly football match because ICM is on a drive to establish partnerships with groups and organizations that have common interest in promoting camaraderie, progress, and development in their respective communities.

When contacted to express his views about Sunday’s encounter, the Coach and Manager of Murialdo Veterans, Hassan Milla Sesay said his team is in high spirit to play the match and that their weekly Saturday training at St. Michael’s Field, Low-cost Kissy has kept the team fit and ready for such a showdown. He added that the team will use this encounter as a tune-up for a veteran football competition scheduled to start later this month at the Approved School Playing Field.

While it is not yet known who will make the first eleven for Murialdo Veterans, ICM will be captained by Barrister Victor I. Lansana; Moses Tiffa Baio will serve as Team Manager and he will be assisted by Barrister Abdul Karim Koroma. The memberships of the two groups, friends and well-wishers have consented to attend.
