Orange Warns Public Over Fake “Maxit” Loan Advertisement

Orange has issued a warning to the public over a counterfeit loan advertisement circulating under the name “Maxit,” describing it as a fraudulent scheme designed to mislead unsuspecting users.

The alert indicates that the advertisement contains a fake loan approval interface, which is being used to create the impression of legitimacy in order to deceive individuals into sharing personal and financial information.

According to the warning, members of the public are strongly advised not to provide any sensitive details or make upfront payments in response to such advertisements, as they are not connected to any official Orange financial service platform.

Orange further cautioned users to rely only on verified and official communication channels for any loan-related services or financial products, stressing that all genuine offers are published through authorised platforms.

The company urged customers to remain vigilant and protect their personal data and financial security, warning that scammers continue to use deceptive tactics to exploit public trust.

It reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding customers and encouraged users to report suspicious messages or advertisements through official support channels.
