The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, on Friday travelled to Kenema to join family members, friends, and the wider football community in bidding farewell to the late J.S. Keifala.
The atmosphere was filled with deep emotion as mourners gathered to honour a man widely described as a dedicated public servant whose influence extended beyond football into civic leadership and community development.
The late Keifala, a former SLFA Vice President, Acting President, and Mayor of the Kenema City Council, was remembered for his humility, commitment, and lasting contributions to both the game of football and public service in Sierra Leone.

President Kamara stood quietly among mourners as he paid tribute to the late football administrator and civic leader, describing him as a true servant of both football and society.
His presence at the ceremony was seen as a mark of respect and solidarity with the bereaved family and the football fraternity, reflecting the high regard in which the late Keifala was held.

The solemn occasion drew together key figures from football, local governance, and the Kenema community, all united in celebrating the life and legacy of a man whose impact is expected to continue inspiring future generations.
