Former President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma, has paid a courtesy visit to the President of the ECOWAS Commission, Dr. Omar Alieu Touray, in Abuja, Nigeria.

The visit took place on Tuesday, 4 August 2026, at the new headquarters of the ECOWAS Commission, where Dr. Touray received the former Sierra Leonean leader.

The engagement provided an opportunity for cordial discussions and further strengthened the longstanding relationship between Koroma and the regional bloc.

The meeting also highlighted the continued engagement of former President Koroma with regional institutions and his connection with ECOWAS affairs.
