Accounting Officer
Location: Freetown

We are looking for an organised Accounting Officer to manage the financial bookkeeping of our business.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
Prepare monthly management account.
Reconcile receivable account.
Prepare payment vouchers and cheques.
Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Ensure that the company meets its tax compliance- GST, PAYE, WHT, Corporation Tax and NASSIT.
Management of cash book and monthly reconciliation.
Ensuring financial and other reporting systems are maintained in accordance with required acceptable standards.
Ensure timesheets are correct and timely invoiced to client.
Managing the payroll system to ensure timely payment of casual workers, permanent staff and ensure accurate deductions are made.
Preparation and modification of the annual budget.
Maintaining the company’s fixed assets listing and fixed asset register.
Accounting Officer Requirements
Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar.
2-3 years previous work experience as an Accounts Officer.
Proficiency in management systems.
Experience in Statutory Accounts preparation.
Administration skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
