CR Belouizdad Set to Entertain Bo Rangers

Algeria Champions CR Belouizdad will go head to head with Bo Rangers on Saturday in the second leg of CAF Champions League Preliminary match at Setif complex in Setif, Algeria.

Bo Rangers defender Abu Bakarr Samura aka Lucio will not be available due to injury.

Head coach Alhaji Foray will welcome Masri back in the squad having missed Rangers two training sessions due to illess.

Head coach Alhaji Foray insists he is not feeling any extra pressure ahead of Saturday’s second-leg tie with Algeria Champions CR Belouizbad at the Setif stadium in Setif.

When asked whether he is feeling the heat ahead of Saturday’s clash, Alhaji replied; “Do I think there is more pressure on me? Not at all. The lads are here to get the business done,” Alhaji said.

“I am looking forward to being involved and showing what we are capable of. Our expectations are high and the lads are mentally and physically prepared ahead of Saturday’s match”

Both teams will meet for second time following their goalless draw in the first leg.

Asked whether Rangers are the favorite to win, Foray added: “No. That would be disrespectful to the host but I am optimistic trust me

Alhaji Foray said Abu Bakarr Samura absent will a big miss ahead of Saturday’s crunch tie.

“Samura is a vital player and no coach will be happy to miss his key player but it’s what it’s. I have 24 players at my disposal so those who are mentally and physically ready will play.

He however called on Sierra Leoneans to rally behind the team. “This is about Bo Rangers but Sierra Leone because we are here to represent the green, white and blue flag, Alhaji said. He added that the team is focus going in Saturday’s crunch tie.

He said: We are focus on our performance and are mentally prepared ahead of Saturday’s tie” Alhaji said. “I don’t know what threat CR Belouizdad will pose on us.

“We know they have a massive squad with quality players and only a top performance will get us the win we want.”

“No matter who plays, they will have a strong team out. What I want is that my team turns up with a strong performance on Saturday.”
