Babadi Kamara Gets Massive Welcome in Waterloo as WARDFA Played Host

The Western Area Rural District Football Association (WARDFA) has on Friday March 22, 2024, played host to one of Sierra Leone’s finest football administrators, Mr. Babadi Kamara, at the Bassa Town Mini Stadium in Waterloo.

The former Leone Stars Team Manager who doubles as the current Manager of Bo Rangers Football Club, was in Waterloo as a special guest to grace the opening match of the Round of 16 in the One Hundred Million Leones (Le100m) trophy organized by the Western Area Rural District Football Association (WARDFA).

Welcoming the guest, Chairman of WARDFA, Kebbie Sesay noted that the people of Waterloo particularly the football fans were excited to see and meet with Babadi Kamara again.

Grateful for his presence, Kebbie Sesay thanked the football “Jagaban” for showing up for football in Waterloo especially so when he holds a tight schedule.

He stated that Babadi Kamara is an administrator who loves and respects Waterloo and its football and therefore entreated fans to accord him same.

He however encouraged him to support the development of football in Waterloo.

Addressing hundreds of football fans at the Bassa Town Mini Stadium, the football development maestro conveyed his excitement, courtesies and love for Waterloo football.

He recalled the camaraderie and enthusiasm espoused by football stakeholders and fans in Waterloo in a recent FA Cup match played between his team- Bo Rangers FC and Waterloo FC at the Bassa Town Mini Stadium in Waterloo.

“It shows we all like football.” He committed himself to support football growth in Waterloo and the Western Area Rural District at large.

“We will do something and surprise the people of Waterloo with development in football that will remain in their lives forever,” he promised.
