Leading All People’s Congress (APC) 2028 presidential aspirant, Ady Macauley, on Monday paid his final respects to the party’s late former National Chairman, Minkailu Mansaray, describing his death as a profound personal and political loss.

Macauley joined family members, party supporters, and sympathizers in mourning the late APC stalwart, with whom he shared a longstanding family bond that stretched beyond politics. According to close family ties, the late Mansaray grew up and attended school alongside Abu Macauley, the father of Ady Macauley, making the loss particularly significant for the presidential hopeful.

In a heartfelt tribute shared after the final rites, Ady Macauley reflected on the life and service of the late chairman, praising his unwavering dedication to the APC and the nation.

“Today, we bid farewell to a dedicated leader, a committed party stalwart, and a man who served with honor and integrity,” Macauley wrote.

He noted that the late Chairman Mansaray’s contributions to the APC and Sierra Leone’s political landscape would remain indelible, emphasizing that his leadership and sacrifices for the party would not be forgotten.

Macauley further described Mansaray as a father figure and a respected elder whose wisdom and commitment to party unity inspired many within the APC.

“Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. Rest well, Chairman Minkailu Mansaray,” he added, while offering prayers for Allah to grant him eternal rest and comfort his bereaved family and loved ones.
