APC President of Washington Chapter Jets in to Support Dr. Samura

Mr. Abu Bakarr Koroma, President of the All Peoples Congress (APC) Washington metropolitan chapter, has returned to Sierra Leone during the current campaign period to show his support for the APC party and its presidential candidate, Dr. Samura Kamara.

Koroma, who has been visiting Sierra Leone in previous years, believes that it is crucial to save the country from further deterioration under the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) government.

As the leader of the largest APC chapter in the diaspora, Abu Bakarr Koroma AKA Abu Ball Yai emphasized the chapter’s commitments to supporting the party. He further added that The Washington Metropolitan chapter has been actively involved in the APC’s leadership campaign, making significant contributions and fulfilling their financial obligations to the party’s executive. Their donations have made them the highest contributors to this year’s campaign.

Koroma s that he is a registered voter and feels a responsibility to participate in the upcoming election. He believes that Dr. Samura Kamara is the only candidate capable of rescuing Sierra Leone from its current state and bringing about the desired change. Koroma has mobilized members of his community, specifically the Kissy community, to vote for Dr. Samura Kamara.

When asked about the presence of his team, Koroma mentioned that he is not the only member representing his chapter in Sierra Leone. The vice president, treasurer, and tech guy of the Washington Metropolitan Chapter are also present, with more members on their way. The chapter has made a collective commitment to support the APC party and its campaign efforts.

In his message to voters, Koroma urged them to remain steadfast, focused, and determined to bring about the change they desire. He appealed to voters to hold onto their voter cards despite any issues surrounding them. Koroma called for a high voter turnout to ensure a first-round victory for Dr. Samura Kamara. He emphasized the peaceful nature of the APC party and urged voters not to be intimidated by any form of coercion.

Koroma highlighted the hardship faced by the people of Sierra Leone, including skyrocketing prices of local commodities, and expressed his belief that Dr. Samura Kamara possesses the necessary economic ideas and expertise to uplift the country. He called for a free and democratic election process and urged everyone to come out and vote for Dr. Samura Kamara on Election Day.
