Hon. Sahr Charles Celebrates Christmas with the People of Koakor Village

Christmas is the season of love, harmony, and celebration. This is a particular time to celebrate Jesus Christ’s birth. Being a festival for Christians also, this festival is celebrated by everybody with great enthusiasm as well as joy.

The people of Koakor in Gbense Chiefdom celebrate this year’s Christmas with the people’s favorite; Hon. Sahr Charles and his family and it was an historic event to have a sitting member of parliament celebrate Christmas with the people of Koakor Village for the first time.

Meeting with his constituent members, Hon. Sahr Charles light their homes with food items, decorate the town field, and  played Christmas soccer with the youths, which he said is a must for symbolizing  the true meaning of Christmas.

Carols are one of the best things or can be said as the best charm of Christmas but Hon. Sahr Charles turned Carols to football Jerseys and footballs for the people of Bayakor and Bafinfeh Sections.

Addressing the people of Koakor village, Hon. Sahr Charles highlighted some facts about Christmas where he said “It is essentially Christmas that reminds us that we should stick to the essential aspects of humankind. In other words, during the celebration, we will share, offer the less fortunate, spend time with loved ones, and have a good view of life”

Speaking with the town Chief of Koakor, Chief Pa Sam, the Honourable assured them of his commitment, perpetual partnership and representation. Pa Sam thanked Hon. Sahr Charles for showing up at the moment of difficulties in the lives of Koakor people.

 Receiving the football Jerseys and balls, Mr. Musa Fonjah the youth leader thanked Hon. Sahr Charles for the rebirth of football in Bayakor and Bafinfeh Sections which he promised to be used in all the sub villages in the two sections to welcome the occasion festivities.

“It’s a pleasure to meet with the people of Koakor” says  Hon. Sahr Charles as he promised to visit other constituent villages before the year ends.
