Ambassador of Peace and Humanity to Sierra Leone, Mr. Alie Skaiky on Friday 14th August, 2020 boosted residents of Lungi, Kaffu Bullom Chiefdom and Portloko Township with huge consignment of medical equipment in a bid to help in the protection and prevention in the fight against covid-19 in the country.

The donated equipment by the World Service Authority Universal Human Rights Organization in Sierra Leone include Nebuilizers Breathing Machines, Blood Pressure Machines, Glucose Test Machines, Stethoscopes Mercury Pressure Machines, Face masks and medical wheel chairs.

Speaking to the people in Portloko Township, Alie Skaiky reiterated that the donation is part of his organization’s corporate social responsibility to render help in this tough time of covid-19 in Sierra Leone and globally.

According to him, he believed that whatever little help anyone render can change the life of somebody else. He said that the motive behind what his organization is doing was for other people to live by example and come out to assist the needy at this trying period in the country. He said that the donation was not in large quantity but they would continue to replicate such donation across the country.

With the little donation from the organization for the district he said it would help the people of Portloko in this difficult period of covid-19 in the country.

The Special Adviser to the President, Bond Wurie in his brief statement assured the people of President Bio’s commitment to support the district on whatever assistance he gets from friends and development partners.
