The Abdallah Sesay Foundation, on the 8th of November , 2021 donated medical and non-medical items to the Connaught Hospital in order to help the hospital in its swift and effective response to the victims of the fire accident at Wellington. The items included boxes of skin burn gel, several rolls of surgical gauze, assorted boxes of pain killers, bundles of bottled water etc.

The Foundation is saddened by the loss of many lives in the fire accident at Wellington, in the eastern part of Freetown on Friday, the 5th of November, 2021 and as such, wishes to see how best those who sustained the burns are rescued from the cold hands of death.

The Chairman of the Foundation, Mr. Abdallah Ahmad Sesay, expressed his sincere condolences to the families who lost their relatives and loved ones in the said accident and that their thoughts and prayers are with them.
