While President of the Republic, HE Julius Maada Bio is seen on social media wining and dining in England, his people in Sierra Leone (Wellington to be specific) suffered a horrible fuel explosion that claimed at least one hundred lives with many more lying in critical condition at hospitals.
Meanwhile, the 2018 APC Presidential candidate, Dr. Samura Kamara on Saturday 6th November, 2021 at around 10:30 am visited the victims to know firsthand what went wrong and the condition they are in.
The explosion occurred at Wellington Industrial Estate, east of Freetown. Dr. Samura Kamara arrived at PMB Junction, Wellington, at around 10am on Saturday 6th November 2021 to survey the damage of the inferno that ravaged the community late Friday night which was a blaze from a tanker with inflammable gasoline which ripped through the surrounding area leaving rubble and destruction in its wake and claiming the lives of at least 100 people so far.
Dr. Samura Kamara first took a ride to personally assess the extent of damage in the area and later addressed health and other volunteers who were coordinating and deploying resources. After touching down from his vehicle, Dr. Samura Kamara walked the area and spoke with locals in the disaster hit community regarding physical and emotional damage.

I am in tears as I type this message. As a mother, I am sympathizing with the families of those that lost their lives during the tanker explosion on the 5th November, 2021 at Wellington Estate, Freetown.
I want all Sierra Leoneans to pray for these patriotic citizens who fell victim to this horrific disaster.
