NPPA Boss Launched Free Summer School in Kenema

In his strides in making sure the dream of the President in the implementation of the free quality education is achieved, Chief Ibrahim Brima Swarray launched free summer school in Kenema.

On Monday 2nd August 2021, marked another remarkable event in the township of Kenema with each pupil attending the free summer school receiving five customized exercise books including pen, pencil and a sharpener at the St. Charles Luanga Primary School compound Hangha road in Kenema where the historic summer school is hosted.

The free summer school with a great novelty has made headlines all throughout the country before the official launch to date.

In the history of Sierra Leone, the SLPP government is the only government that always puts premium on quality education adding that a great nation is a well-educated nation the NPPA Boss indicated.

The Chief Executive Officer of Ibrahim Brima Swarray’s academic Foundation, Chief Ibrahim Brima Swarray encouraged pupils to take their academic work seriously saying education is the key to unlock the way to development.

He pleaded with parents to support their children towards a better education indicating that education is the best asset one can give to a child.

As a true son of the New Direction administration trying to replicate the greatness of his father H.E President Bio, Chief Ibrahim Brima Swarray vowed to do everything humanly possible to make sure the required result for the implementation of the free quality education is achieved.

He called on members of the public support President Bio and the New Direction to succeed in the implementation of the free quality education and to make Sierra Leone a more enviable nation to live.

Chief Ibrahim Brima Swarray who is otherwise known as Chief promoter of President Bio’s free quality education in the Bio led government started this great journey  with a quiz and debate competition organised in Kenema district late 2020.

The first competition brought together over fifteen schools in Kenema and later preceded to Kailahun and Kono districts respectively.

Many eyes began to open, the rough edges of the water became calm, Heroes gained recognition, parents/guardians became more conscious in supporting their children towards quality education, the lost days of quality learning system in Sierra Leone surfaced, the unbelievers continue to ponder, many souls were won at last and the need for a regional contest to find brains of the east emerged and gained the required momentum. Many described the event as a wild fire in the dries.

It was but very successful that the eastern region did not only converge to show case their educational talents as the wisest of all but to be more united than ever as unity speaks volume in all aspect of life.

The victors in that all memorable event received scholarships as various awards were also accorded them by merit.

It could be recalled that there are plans by the NPPA Boss to extend similar academic ventures in other parts of the country each year until the great movie gains complete national character.
