In support of the first Human Capital Development President, Julius Maada Bio aka ‘Prezo talk and do’, the leading promoter and apprentice rebranding the National Public Procurement Authority (NPPA), Chief Executive Ibrahim Brima Swarray on Monday, 2 August 2021, organised a Free Quality Summer School Programme for pupils at the Junior and Senior Secondary school levels. The summer school programme is organised under the Ibrahim Brima Swarray Academic Foundation which was formed on December 5, 2020 with the Theme: My Education, My priority. The summer school is held at the St. Charles Luanga Primary School along Hangha Road in Kenema City. It is expected to close on 31 August, 2021. Close to one thousand(1,000,000) pupils have registered for the free facility with each of them receiving five exercise books,  pens, pencils and more.

The  summer school has the potential to help pupils improve their academic outcomes. It is especially true for pupils from low-income families who may not have   time to master the academic content. However,  the Ibrahim Brima Swarray Academic Foundation Sumer Learning programme has engaged teachers to address the society’s felt-need.
