SLFA ELECTIVE CONGRESS DATE DELAYED

The Sierra Leone Football Association would like to inform the football family and the general public that the original date for the SLFA General Assembly (elective) slated for the 27th February 2021 has been postponed.

In response to reviews and update correspondences from SLFA Bodies involved in the electoral process and the National Sports Authority, FIFA in an official letter dated 20th February 2021 stated;

 “We deem that it is absolutely essential that SLFA bodies involved in this process are given sufficient time to pass all relevant decisions, including any appeal that might be lodged by candidates as permitted by the SLFA Electoral Code, even if this means that the time frame leading to the elections has to be slightly amended.”

The football family will be informed of the revised dates as soon as these become available.
