Addressing management, staff, stakeholders and pensioners, the Director General emphasised the Trust’s sacred mandate, noting that NASSIT is not merely an institution but a national promise that must be upheld, adding that management and staff are responsible for ensuring that this promise is not only upheld but fulfilled with excellence.
Mr Jalloh intimated his audience that NASSIT is transforming its service delivery through automation by deploying the new Pension Administration System (PAS) which will digitalize the entire pension administration process, eliminate delays, and enhance transparency and customer satisfaction.
He further stated that management was working to extend social security coverage to the informal sector, noting that true social protection must be inclusive. To achieve this, he has transformed the Informal Sector Secretariat to a full Division to empower and speed up the expansion process and ensure that every worker, from the market to the farm, is covered under the NASSIT Scheme.
The Director General concluded his statement by thanking the men and women who have served the Trust for over two decades, and called on all staff to support the new team in its drive to reposition the Trust.
