Link Your Bank. Transact. Win: Flot Launches “Link & Win” with 40 Cash Winners Every Friday and a Grand Prize Trip to Dubai

Nationwide Q4 rewards campaign with Zenith Bank and Sky Bank pays Sierra Leoneans for connecting their Flot wallets to their bank accounts, running from 1 October to 31 December 2026

Flot, Sierra Leone’s homegrown financial platform, today launches Link & Win, a nationwide rewards campaign that pays customers for connecting their mobile wallets to their bank accounts and moving money freely between the two. Every Friday for thirteen weeks, 40 winners will take home cash prizes of between SLE 200 and SLE 2,000. When the season closes, one customer will walk away with the grand prize: a trip for two to Dubai.

The campaign is delivered in partnership with Zenith Bank Sierra Leone and Sky Bank Sierra Leone. Ecobank Sierra Leone is expected to join in the coming weeks, widening the circle of banks customers can link.

Customers who do not yet hold an account with a partner bank, or whose account has gone dormant, are not left out. Flot and its banking partners will help them open or reactivate an account and link it, turning a promotional draw into a practical act of financial inclusion.

“For too long, the wallet and the bank account have lived separate lives, and Sierra Leoneans have paid for the distance between them,” said David Kpakima, CEO of Open Banking Hub, the company behind Flot. “Link & Win closes that gap. Link your account, move your money the way modern economies do, and every Friday an ordinary transaction becomes an extraordinary win. Somebody is going to Dubai. It could be you.”

“Zenith Bank has always believed that innovation should serve the customer’s best interest, and Link & Win does exactly that,” said Ugochukwu Irechukwu, Managing Director and CEO of Zenith Bank Sierra Leone. “When a customer links a wallet to a bank account, they are not just entering a draw. They are stepping fully into the formal financial system, with everything that membership brings: security, records, credit history and access. We are proud to stand with Flot in rewarding Sierra Leoneans for taking that step, and we look forward to welcoming both new customers and returning ones whose accounts have been waiting for them.”

“Sky Bank’s partnership with Flot has been about one thing from the start: modernising how Sierra Leoneans bank, in line with the country’s financial modernisation drive,” said Fasasi Charles Adeniye, Managing Director and CEO of Sky Bank Sierra Leone. “Link & Win turns that ambition into something every customer can feel. Link your account, move your money freely, and be rewarded for it. A dormant account helps nobody. An active, linked account builds a customer’s financial life and the nation’s economy at the same time, and this campaign will bring thousands of accounts back to life.”

Link & Win builds on a remarkable first season for the platform. In September, His Excellency President Dr Julius Maada Bio received the very first Flot Ultra Black Card, Card No. 001, at State House. Days later, Her Excellency the First Lady, Dr Fatima Maada Bio, received Card No. 002 as she launched the platform to the public. Sierra Leoneans have followed in their thousands, opening tens of thousands of accounts in the platform’s first months, with sign-ups climbing month after month.

That momentum rests on a simple promise: helping Sierra Leoneans do more with their money. In one app, customers hold Leone and US dollar wallets, make payments over WhatsApp, buy airtime, pay bills and send instant, free transfers to other Flot users. A family of cards serves every stage of life, from the instant Virtual USD card that unlocks online payments in minutes, through Mint and Gold, to the Ultra Black carried at State House.

The loudest buzz has gathered around Flot Travel. Customers can search flights, compare airlines and fares side by side, and book and pay without leaving the app. The Freetown to China route, long priced around $2,800, is now available from $1,600. Savings of that size have made the platform the talk of the country’s traders, travellers and diaspora returnees.

“These are the options travellers deserve, at prices few thought possible a year ago,” said Kpakima. “We built Flot Travel so that Sierra Leoneans book the way the world books: compare your airlines, choose your fare and pay in minutes, without leaving home.”

How to take part:

1. Download the Flot app or open your existing wallet and complete verification.

2. Link your wallet to your Zenith Bank or Sky Bank account, or let the team help you open or reactivate one.

3. Transact by moving money from wallet to bank or bank to wallet.

4. You are automatically entered into that week’s Friday draw. Winners are announced on Flot’s official channels every Friday.

Draws will be conducted transparently in accordance with the campaign’s published terms and conditions, which will be available at www.flotme.ai. No fee is charged to enter beyond standard transaction charges.

Link & Win runs from 1 October to 31 December 2026 across Sierra Leone. The season ends in Dubai. Where it starts is up to you: download Flot and link your account today.
