The National Revenue Authority (NRA) and the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) have formalised their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the NRA Head Office.

The agreement provides a framework for cooperation between the two state institutions, with both parties committing to strengthen collaboration and improve coordination in areas of mutual interest.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, representatives of the NRA and EDSA stressed that the effectiveness of the agreement would depend largely on its implementation. They pledged to adhere to the provisions outlined in the agreement’s Terms of Reference and work towards achieving its objectives.

The MoU establishes a framework for sustained cooperation, joint operations and coordinated action across key areas agreed upon by the two institutions.

Both authorities also emphasised the importance of maintaining a constructive working relationship and fulfilling their respective institutional responsibilities under the agreement.

The partnership is expected to improve coordination between the NRA and EDSA, streamline shared administrative processes and enhance operational efficiency in support of national development objectives.
