CFAO Mobility Sierra Leone, the sole authorized distributor of Toyota vehicles in the country, has unveiled the all-new 2026 Toyota RAV4 alongside the newly introduced Toyota Land Cruiser FJ, marking another major development in Sierra Leone’s automotive market.

The unveiling took place on Friday, 4 September 2026, at CFAO Mobility’s facility at 58C Lightfoot Boston Road, off Wilkinson Road, Freetown, in the presence of members of the press, customers and other invited guests.

The launch, held under the theme “Adventure Meets Innovation,” showcased Toyota’s latest generation of vehicles while highlighting CFAO Mobility’s drive to bring modern automotive technology, safety and customer-focused mobility solutions closer to Sierra Leonean motorists.

Welcoming guests, Managing Director of CFAO Mobility Sierra Leone, Geoffroy De Marcellus, described the occasion as a “significant milestone” for the company and the local automotive industry.

De Marcellus emphasized that the launch was not merely about adding new vehicles to CFAO Mobility’s portfolio, but represented a renewed commitment to providing Sierra Leoneans with access to internationally recognized vehicles and professional automotive services locally.

He explained that the RAV4 has evolved beyond being simply a vehicle, noting that it has become part of the everyday lives of many motorists from commuting and family activities to road trips and weekend adventures.

The Managing Director further underscored CFAO Mobility’s commitment to opening a new chapter for Toyota customers in Sierra Leone, saying the company’s focus remains on combining innovation with practical solutions that respond to the changing needs and lifestyles of motorists.

According to him, the latest generation RAV4 demonstrates Toyota’s continued effort to rethink mobility by making its vehicles more connected, technologically advanced and responsive to different driving experiences.

The unveiling of the vehicles was led by CFAO Mobility Sierra Leone’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Calvin Hans-Kawa, who took guests through the major features and technological innovations incorporated into the new models.

Hans-Kawa highlighted the transformation of the 2026 Toyota RAV4, describing it as the sixth generation of the popular SUV and pointing out its new design direction and upgraded technology.

He explained that the new RAV4 has been developed around the different ways customers use their vehicles, whether for everyday driving, family transportation or outdoor adventures.

On technology, Hans-Kawa noted that the new RAV4 comes with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, while the Toyota Audio Multimedia display is available in 10.5-inch or 12.9-inch configurations, depending on the model specification.

He also highlighted the vehicle’s enhanced safety technologies, stressing that innovation should be accompanied by greater confidence and protection for drivers and passengers.

According to Hans-Kawa, the 2026 RAV4 comes with Toyota Safety Sense 4.0, alongside features including Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, designed to provide additional assistance to drivers and improve awareness on the road.

He maintained that the objective of the technological upgrades is not simply to add more features, but to provide drivers with technology capable of supporting them throughout their journeys.

Turning to the customer experience, Hans-Kawa pointed out that the RAV4 appeals to different categories of motorists because of its versatility.

“One vehicle. Different lifestyles. Different personalities,” he emphasized, capturing Toyota’s positioning of the RAV4 as a vehicle designed to accommodate both everyday mobility and adventure.

The event also featured the unveiling of the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ, adding another significant model to Toyota’s offering in Sierra Leone and reinforcing CFAO Mobility’s focus on expanding the range of vehicles available to local customers.

CFAO Mobility also disclosed the prices of the newly introduced models, with the 2026 Toyota RAV4 priced at US$60,000, while the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ is priced at US$69,000.

The launch comes as CFAO Mobility continues to position itself as a major player in Sierra Leone’s automotive sector, with emphasis on vehicle sales, after-sales services, genuine parts and customer support.

The unveiling concluded with a strong message to customers: the new RAV4 is not simply a new model, but the beginning of another chapter in the evolution of a vehicle that has become part of the daily lives of motorists around the world.

For CFAO Mobility Sierra Leone, the arrival of the new models represents a combination of innovation, safety, technology and adventure, while giving Sierra Leonean motorists an opportunity to experience Toyota’s latest generation of automotive engineering locally.
