Supporters of Honourable Alhaji Musa Tarawally have described him as the “poor people’s flagbearer for change,” highlighting his commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable communities across Sierra Leone.
According to a statement from his supporters, Tarawally’s leadership vision is centred on promoting fairness, creating jobs, expanding social protection, and improving access to basic services for citizens, particularly those in disadvantaged communities.
The statement said that with Tarawally as the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) flagbearer, the interests of poor and marginalised Sierra Leoneans would remain a priority, with a focus on policies aimed at creating opportunities for every family to improve their livelihoods.
“Hope and dignity for the poor are front and centre,” the statement noted, urging citizens to support a vision built around fairness, employment opportunities, and inclusive development.
Supporters further stated that Tarawally believes in building a Sierra Leone where every citizen, regardless of background, has the opportunity to thrive through improved social and economic opportunities.
The comments form part of growing political discussions ahead of future electoral activities, as parties and potential candidates continue to present their visions and policy priorities to the public.
