The Sierra Leone Premier League Board has officially crowned Bo Rangers FC champions of the 2025/26 Leone Rock Premier League following their final league match of the season against Mighty Blackpool FC.

Despite suffering a 1-0 defeat in the encounter, Bo Rangers had already secured the league title, while the victory helped Mighty Blackpool maintain their Premier League status for the next season.

During the trophy presentation ceremony, Bo Rangers were awarded the league trophy and presented with a mock cheque of Le500,000 as the championship prize.

The ceremony was attended by Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Executive Committee Member Mohamed Sorie Jalloh, members of the Premier League Board, and other senior sports officials, including National Sports Authority Executive Director Mohamed Alphaka Conteh Esq., Director of Sports Haroun Korji, and General Administrative Manager of league sponsors Leone Rock Metal Group, Mohamed Sulaiman Fofanah.

The title marks Bo Rangers’ fourth league championship in the last five seasons, further strengthening their dominance in Sierra Leone football.

Meanwhile, the conclusion of the 2025/26 season has confirmed the relegation of Abacha FC, SLIFA FC, Luawa FC, and Freetown City FC from the top flight.

They will be replaced by newly promoted Western United FC and Waterloo FC as the Premier League reduces from 18 to 16 teams for the 2026/27 season as part of the implementation of the new football ecosystem.
