Council of Legal Education Appoints Interim Leadership at Sierra Leone Law School

The Council of Legal Education has announced changes in the leadership of the Sierra Leone Law School following the end of the notice period of resignation of the institution’s former Director, effective Tuesday, 30 June 2026.

According to a public notice issued after a council meeting held on the same day, the Council took cognizance of the resignation and resolved to appoint interim leadership to ensure continuity in the administration of the Law School.

As part of the resolution, the Council appointed Hon. Justice Fatmata Bintu Alhadi JSC as Acting Director of the Sierra Leone Law School, while Emmanuel Sahr Tondoneh Esq. was appointed as Assistant.

The Council further stated that recruitment for the substantive position of Director of the Sierra Leone Law School will be advertised in due course.

The notice emphasized that the interim appointments are intended to maintain stability and effective management of the institution pending the appointment of a permanent Director.
