Presidential aspirant Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally has outlined a vision focused on transforming Sierra Leone’s political culture from one that, according to him, diminishes citizens’ sense of worth to one that promotes productivity, wealth creation, and national development.

In a statement shared under his “Agenda MT, Vision 2028” platform, Tarawally said his leadership ambition is driven by the desire to reposition citizens as active contributors to national progress rather than passive subjects of political control.

“I will change the political trajectory from making people feel that they are worthless in order to easily rule them, to making people productive and wealthy, with the sense of responsibility to develop our country,” he stated.

The former government official emphasized that his proposed approach would focus on empowering citizens economically while fostering a stronger sense of civic responsibility toward national development.

Tarawally’s remarks form part of his broader political messaging as he positions himself for the 2028 political cycle, where he is expected to outline further details of his governance and development agenda.

His statement adds to growing early political discourse ahead of the next electoral cycle, with aspirants beginning to project their visions and policy priorities.
