The Improvement Committee of the Sierra Leone Grammar School Old Boys Union has announced plans to host its much-anticipated Africana Service and Regentonian Year Competition on Sunday, 10 May 2026.
The event is scheduled to take place at 10:00 AM at the Sierra Leone Grammar School Chapel and is expected to bring together alumni, students, supporters, and members of the wider Grammar School community.
Organizers have also unveiled the contestants set to participate in this year’s competition. They include Dr. Francis Moses, Leslie Gordon Browne, Richard Williams, Derick L. Kawaley, and Alhassan Bangura.

This year’s programme will be held under the biblical theme: “Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you.” taken from Deuteronomy 16:17.
The Africana Service and Regentonian Year Competition is regarded as one of the notable annual events within the school’s alumni calendar, aimed at promoting unity, fellowship, and continued support for the growth and development of the institution.
Members of the Old Boys Union and invited guests are expected to attend in large numbers as contestants compete for the prestigious title while contributing to the advancement of the school community.
