The President of the Francis Koroma Foundation Corporation, Francis Koroma, has represented the organization at the Global Non-Profit Leaders Summit hosted under the Microsoft Elevate initiative, highlighting the foundation’s work in education and youth empowerment.

The summit brought together nonprofit leaders from around the world to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and explore innovative approaches to addressing global challenges through technology and inclusive development.

Speaking on his participation, Koroma said the foundation remains committed to expanding access to education for underserved communities and developing future leaders. He noted that over the past three years, the organization has supported mentees and scholars through the provision of resources, mentorship, and guidance.

“Our mission remains clear—to create access to education for the underserved, develop leaders, and open opportunities for the next generation,” he said.

Koroma added that the foundation’s programmes continue to support young people, particularly in communities where access to educational opportunities is limited.

The participation of the Francis Koroma Foundation at the summit underscores the growing presence of Sierra Leonean-led initiatives on the international stage and highlights opportunities for collaboration with global partners, including Microsoft.

The Microsoft Elevate initiative aims to support nonprofit organizations with tools, training, and resources to help scale their impact and promote sustainable development.
