Port Loko City was filled with activity and excitement on Friday, 15th August 2025, as APC flagbearer front-runner and proud son of the soil, Ady Macauley, joined the Muslim congregation at the Port Loko Central Mosque for Jummah prayers.
The visit was more than a spiritual gathering it was also the fulfillment of a promise. Two months earlier, during a similar visit, community members requested a Public Address (PA) system to improve worship and public gatherings. On Friday, Mr. Macauley returned with a complete PA system, which he handed over to the mosque’s leadership after prayers.

Speaking after the handover, Mr. Macauley said it was an honour to once again worship alongside the Muslim community in Port Loko. He explained that the donation was in line with a commitment he made during his previous visit, describing it as “a small contribution to support worship and community gatherings.”

He expressed gratitude for the warm reception and the prayers offered for him by the congregation, noting that such trust motivates him to serve with sincerity, integrity, and action. He also prayed for Allah’s guidance as the nation works together toward a better Sierra Leone.

The donation was warmly welcomed by residents, who described it as timely and valuable. Many praised Mr. Macauley’s consistency, noting that he not only makes commitments but also delivers on them.

The atmosphere in Port Loko was filled with smiles, gratitude, and prayers, reinforcing his deep-rooted ties to his hometown and his image as a leader who stands by his people both in words and deeds.
